gladiator armor vs ascalon armor - Guild Wars Forums

i currently have the ascalon armor, but should i get the gladiator armor instead?

i am a warrior/monk so the extra energy on the gladiator armor is nice, but ascalon armor has the reduces damage mod, but it doesnt specify how much, any suggestions will be helpful

Your best bet would be to go with the gadiator armor for the extra energy then find or trade for runes of absorbtion which can be added to it that will give you the damage reduction you desire as well. Best of both worlds. Two reasons for this choose I am unaware of energy runes a warrior can equip to armor and gladiator armor has a higher base armor rating.

k thx for the help, any ballpark idea on how much absorption runes sell for?

I purchesed 2 for 300 a piece the other night but as with all player bartering that is a rough ballpark. I would not pay more than 500 though no matter.
